What is Knee Arthroscopy?

Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which a small camera (arthroscope) and specialised instruments are inserted into the knee joint through 2–3 small incisions called portals. This allows the surgeon to visualise and treat the entire interior of the knee under HD magnification — with significantly less trauma to surrounding tissues compared to open surgery.
